Wednesday Weekly Wrap-up

We're still here, our computer is acting up so we've only been in Blogville until SHE gives up in disgust.

Anyway, we've been busy and threatened with being listed on Ebay.
It's getting light at about 5:00 a.m.
Saturday morning when we went out, there was a cat
 in OUR back garden.
Well, we went crazy.....barking, racing around, crashing through bushes.....
We got all the dogs in the street barking, too.
SHE has been laying low, hoping the neighbours will forget
their early morning wake up call.

SHE ignored a morning squeak from Dui, thinking it may have been part of a dream.
Have you ever seen your peeps hopping around with an arm load of laundry and a blob of poo adhered to her instep?
Well, we thought it was funny.

SHE thought that sheep three paddocks over didn't warrant Dui being put on the leash.....WRONG!
He went under THREE fences to chase them.
Lesson learned.

However, on the positive side our No Sibe Fence around the little garden has worked.  We've had loads of Bok Choi, the tomato plants are loaded with green tomatoes.  And yesterday was our first harvest of  Cute Cumbers.

It's nearly 6:30, we're heading out to the river for
more mischief exercise.  Supposed to hit 40°C/104°F
today--first really hot day we've had so far.
(If we're MIA, it's the dumb computer.)

  3. Would you believe I have seen my assistant hopping around with laundry in her arms and poop on her foot. You see one of our two cats is quite old and has a habit of missing the litter box and thinks the space in front of the laundry room door is actually a litter box ...see where I'm going with this. Quite a sight!

  4. Our mom is NOT happy to be trackin' poo around on her shoes so we can only imagine that SHE isn't either. Wow - 104 degrees already!

  6. It sounds like you two have been having a lot of fun keeping Mom on her
toes". Our Mom would really enjoy those cute cucumbers - bet they are really tasty. Glad you are getting good results from your no sibe fence. Ours is only 50% successful - i.e. only Ciara keeps out:)

  7. Computers sure are stubborn critters sometimes! We're trying to picture Mom with a poop on her instep! Yup, that's pretty easy to do since it happened to our Mom too. HeHeHe

Enjoy your summer. We're still in the 80's here in Florida.

  8. We get heirloom vegetable seeds. They're non-GMO and you can save the seed from one harvest to the next planting.

I think it takes a lot of talent to get all the neighborhood dogs barking. Well done!

  14. BOL I would have loved to have seen HER hopping around with poop on Her foot. Mom loves cucumbers but never had any luck at growing them. She has a black thumb she has killed a cactus and an ivey. How does that happen? Enjoy the rest of y'alls week and stay cool.

    Aroo to you,
    Sully

  16. Sounds like you're all too busy to waste time with dodgy computers anyway. Which is no bad thing. Gail is impressed by the cute cumbers, although I suspect they are every bit are uninteresting to eat as regular 'cumbers.
    Toodle pip!
