This morning it was -4 C on our walk. (That's about 25 F--but we think -4 sounds colder.) In our town, that's about as cold as it gets. There was loads of frost on the sports ground and the grass was crunchy. My, Daisy's, beard got icy! The other two raced madly around doing frosty paws zoomies. Even the cats weren't out.
So we're glad we're heading out to HonnaRooRoo for some warmth. (Actually, SHE's the one who feels the cold, we LOVE it.) Hope someone remembers to bring the other kind of Frosty Paws to the party.
Also....
We'd like to introduce you to a new(ish) resident of Blogville. His name is Phantom and he looks like he's made of cotton wool. His blog is cottonmypoostie.blogspot.com and I'm sure he'd love a friendly hello from everyone.
It's already the 4th here, so we'd like to wish all of our US friends a happy and safe Independence Day.
Our auntie and cousin (her daughter) from San Antonio are arriving on Saturday, so we may not be around much until the Olympics.
