You know us well...

No stupid sign was going to stop us!

We just went around it.  Then headed down to the river.
Not the usual place we play.

The river level was up today, and the bank is steep along here.
Bella was being curious, got too close and fell in.

She was having problems getting back up,
so Roxy went to help...BOL!
Roxy fell down on top of Bella.
 SHE, of course, panicked,
(So there are no photos of this part).
And had to lie down on HER stomach to grab Roxy's collar
 and haul her up.

Next SHE hauled Bella up.

While SHE was getting her back and knees realigned,
we raced ahead to the puddle for the rock game.

Then we walked the loop.  By the time we neared the gate,
 Jake and Chloe had arrived.
They didn't pay attention to the sign either.
It was time for the games to begin!

And you were right, there were no repairs happening.

  18. What a great river to play in! If you read the sign closely it is only closed for repairs. Since neither of you are repairs, you are doggies after all, it does not apply to you. So it was OK!

    Your Pals,

    Murphy & Stanley

Glad you got out of the river ok - sheesh! Although it is a little disappointing that there weren't pictures - I am imagining it and it is kinda funny (only cause it all turned out ok). :)

  29. Roads that are closed are the best for walking/hiking! We always say that dogs can't read - so off we go. Scary about falling in though. Please be careful.

  30. Well that was pretty scary. Humans are good for something on walks.
